(North Las Vegas, NV) – North Las Vegas Mayor Shari Buck won’t be punished in an ethics case. Buck and the state Ethics Commission agreed she committed a “non-willful” violation by offering an opinion on whether a new election should have been held in last year’s city council race, where the winner won by just one vote. Buck won’t be fined or penalized, because she sought advice from the city attorney first.
