Former Congresswoman Dina Titus is laying the groundwork for another run for the House. Titus tells the “Review-Journal”
she has resigned from the federal Commission on Civil Rights, and says it’s becoming “more imminent” that she’ll be a candidate. Titus says she’ll announce her run soon. She lost to Republican Joe Heck in District Three last November.
Another Democrat, Assembly Speaker John Oceguera, has also announced plans to run for Congress. Nevada will gain another seat in the House next year.
